Our democracy remains at risk and Aghogho is committed to preserving every voter’s constitutional rights. Aghogho believes the key to keeping our democracy strong is good election administration. As Secretary of State, he will work with voters, clerks, and advocacy groups to implement policies that will integrate and connect our three methods of voting – early voting, absentee, and Election Day – so that our election system is seamless and accessible to everyone. Aghogho knows that voters want election results delivered to them in a fair, accurate, and prompt manner, and he will work to make sure standards are in place to meet this essential expectation. With the U.S. Supreme Court and federal government increasingly turning its back on our voting rights, Aghogho will work with the Legislature to pass safeguards to protect our voting rights and ensure we continue to have fair and secure elections.
