Michiganders deserve to know what is motivating their elected officials. Michigan is one of the only states in the country that does not subject its Governor or Legislature to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Aghogho will work to end this practice and bring sunlight into our government. Aghogho is committed to removing dark money from politics and reducing its influence on our elected officials. Aghogho will work to pass legislation to eliminate the loopholes that allow legislators to raise unlimited amounts of money for their campaigns. He will also work to end the revolving door between the Legislature and lobbying firms.
